The training has enriched me with insightful knowledge and practical tools that I have already begun to implement in my leadership. Below are two key topics that have deeply impacted my personal growth and pastoral work
1. Vision Casting and Strategic Planning
One of the most transformative aspects of this training has been the session on Vision Casting and Strategic Planning. In my early experience in ministry, I’ve observed that time management and effective program planning are significant challenges. Many church activities tend to be event-focused without a long-term vision or measurable impact. This topic taught me how to develop a clear vision for ministry and create strategic, goal-oriented plans that align with the broader mission of the church. This has helped me move toward a success-oriented ministry, grounded in purpose rather than busyness.

While the content and delivery of the training have been excellent, I would like to offer one suggestion for further enhancement. The long gaps between the modules pose a challenge in maintaining continuity and momentum.
The Training of Trainers – Young Leaders Training program has been a transformative experience for me as a young church leader. It has not only deepened my understanding of ministry but also equipped me with practical leadership tools that I can implement within my church and community. I highly value the contextualized approach of this training and encourage the organizers to continue emphasizing practical application within our local ministry settings.
I am truly grateful to the Tangkhul Theological Association for this initiative and pray that many more young leaders will benefit from such programs in the future.

I'm Lingsangmi, and I'm excited to share my experience in the Training of Trainers (TOT) program, the Moral Educating Teachers Cohort. With a passion for teaching and mentoring, I've been working with children and adults in Sunday School and also as a social worker for 8 years. I joined this program to enhance my skills and knowledge in effective training and teaching methods, aiming to better equip others to make a positive impact.
During the program, I gained valuable insights into effective planning, influencing others, and capturing attention in teaching. I also learned about building strong relationships in ministry and fostering teamwork. One of the highlights of the training was the opportunity to facilitate a session on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, which was a crucial topic that required sensitivity and expertise. These skills will enable me to make a more significant impact in my work and relationships. The course has had a profound impact on my personal life, leadership, and ministry. I've gained valuable skills and insights that have enhanced my ability to lead and serve others. Specifically, I've learned how to plan more effectively, communicate more clearly, and build stronger relationships. These skills have not only improved my ministry but also enriched my personal life.

As a young Pastor serving in Ukhrul, I have always been passionate about growing in my calling and better serving the church. Over the years, I have realized that leadership in ministry requires passion, wisdom, intentional growth and support. When I learned about the Yong Leader Training Cohort, I saw it as a timely opportunity for me to be equipped, encouraged and challenged in my personal and pastoral journey. My desire to grow both spiritually and in leadership effectiveness led me to enroll in this program.
The training has imparted valuable insights that will stay with me for years to come. I have grown in my understanding of servant leadership, strategic ministry planning, effective communication, emotional and spiritual health and team building. I especially appreciated the emphasis on Christlike character as the foundation for lasting leadership.
