Training of Trainers (ToT)
TTA-Senior-Officers
TTA has been conducting Leadership Training for many years in NE-India region and continues to do so catering to the ever changing society and ever growing demands of such training programs at various levels.
TTA is committed to passing on the knowledge and skills of what it takes to be a leader to the next generation. Our decades-long effort is to raising next-line leadership for the community at different levels. To do this, we follow the principle laid out in 2 Timothy 2:2 by entrusting what we have learnt to reliable people who are also be able and willing to teach others as well - Training of Trainers (ToT).
With decades of experience in the training sector, we realized the cruciality of target groups, thus we take utmost care in identifying and recruiting trainees to ensure maximum benefits and impacts. Cohort system is identified as an effective approach to training the indigenous leaders in the given context; hence this module.
We adopt cohort system. Interested and capable men and women within the target population are invited to enrol and form a group, i.e. cohort, of 25/20 participants. Participants are mobilized, identified, and recruited mostly through institution/organization/church by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to ensure effectiveness as well as fairness. These carefully selected 25 trainees shall meet once or twice a year for 3 or 4 days each. It will be a residential training covering various compelling topics on leadership. They will come back every six or twelve months, so that by the end of 3 years, they would complete 5 to 6 modules covering 15-18 topics altogether during the entire training days.
This approach is chosen to facilitate commitment, avoid dropouts, and ensure continuity of the program in the long run.
